Precision Plus' remanufacturing
process gives new life to expensive or hard to obtain metal castings and
machined parts.
Utilizing a stainless steel composite, parts
are plasma flame sprayed, remachined and ground to O.E.M. Specifications.
Because Precision Plus’ coatings are more resistant to corrosion and abrasive
wear than uncoated O.E.M. parts, a prolonged life expectancy is common.
Whether you have a worn out two-pound shaft
or a 250-pound rotor assembly, Precision Plus can remanufacture your parts
to perform as good or better than new!
Check with customer service or sales to get
a remanufacturing number for your order, the correct part number and price.

REMANUFACTURING
SERVICE PROCEDURE FOR CUSTOMERS
|
1. Call customer
service or sales for the correct part number and price of the parts that
you want remanufactured.
2. When you
call in the order, we will issue a REMANUFACTURING NUMBER. This number
has to be written somewhere on or in the package you ship to Precision
Plus. This helps us identify and track the large number of components
arriving daily, especially considering that items arrive several days
after order placement.
3. All parts
such as pins, shaft keys and nozzles should be removed from plates, rotors,
etc. We are not responsible for returning these items.
4. Parts should
be cleaned, degreased, and tagged with the part number and a description
of chemicals used in the pump. We must be notified if pumps were exposed
to dangerous chemicals.
5. The parts
will be inspected by our remanufacturing coordinator, and again by shop
remanufacturing personnel once they arrive at Precision to determine if
they can indeed be refurbished. If there are any concerns we will notify
you immediately to determine the next course of action.
6. Precision
Plus can exchange parts to minimize lead-time depending on availability
and inspection of the incoming parts. If the incoming parts are not remanufacturable,
an additional core charge will be assessed.
7. We offer
a three-day PRIORITY SERVICE for an additional 20% charge. You must notify
us of your desire for priority service when calling for a remanufacturing
number. Normal turnaround is seven to ten working days from the date the
parts are received. Special items may require additional time, including
engineering.
8. Precision
Plus is willing to buy your used components to be remanufactured or resold
in our exchange program. Please contact your salesperson for details.
9. In
order to prevent shipping damage, parts must be packaged securely.
DO NOT send the parts packaged in Styrofoam "popcorn." Heavy metal parts
have a tendency to settle to the bottom of the popcorn resulting in damage
to the part.
